PDC DC as a Virtual Machine with time synchronization Problems

I have a problem with time synchronizing on my Domain. I recently created a virtual machine to act as my PDC Domain controller and also NTP server for the domain. I noticed that since I did this, my domain time on client machines is no longer correct. I need to know the best pratice on how to setup my AD PDC as a virtual machine.

Basically there's nothing wrong with virtual DCs. What you should do is to completely disable time sync between the ESXi host and the DC and vice versa. To disable time sync for the virtual machine, make sure "Sync with host" is disabled in the VMware Tools and add the additional configuration settings to the DC's settings (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1189)  For the ESXi host use a reliable time server, but not the virtual DC.
