MS NLB in unicast mode

Hello,

I try to configure a cluster in network load balacing unicast mode on 2 vm. These vm are on 2 different esx servers.

That don't work...

Has somebody an experience with this configuration ? I read that it is only possible if the 2 vm are on the same vSwitch.

Is it possible on different esx (different vswitch) ?

The 2 esx are 3.5 !

Getting NLB running on ESX is a trick and requires some specific VSwitch settings. In general if you plan to use NLB unicast mode, you must run all members of the NLB cluster on the same virtual switch.
