I am assuming that the process to install VMWare Tools on a Linux VM is the same as on a Windows VM.
I have tried several times on a Fedora 4 VM and on a Redhat 5 machine and they both appear to start, but apparently fail.
I have not been able to find any info here or on VMWare support link.
The VM is responding sluggishly and you have to Ctrl-Alt to get of the windows, so I know it has not been installed yet.
Thanks,
Marvin
Hello,
Please post the exact error you get. Also, the install is not just like Windows as you will be installing an RPM, things are quite a bit different. The start is the same but the installer is different.
