Link lost, eth0 down on guest OS.

Hi,

Recently I've experienced network problems with a couple of guest OSs.

Ubuntu 8.04 LTS without VMW Tools and latest Debian with VMW Tools.

Both install and appear to work just fine but now and then they get disconnected from the network.

This occurs because somehow the eth0 (primary interface) switches state from UP to DOWN.

If I log in using the console and changes it to UP, everything is normal again ..

This is very annoying, any hints are greatly appreciated.
