I'm trying to run a unix ported application that I need to reference periodically. This program uses a .brand file that it generates using information about the disk hardware and possibly file platter location. This application has been running for months.
On February 1, the facility where it was located had a catastrophic power failure including generator failure to engage so the whole site went down hard. I scanned the host and the drives report all is well but, ever since then, the application running on the guest OS fails licensing with a corrupt .brand file.
Any sugestions?
