Is there a way to tell which virtuals need VM tools upgrade

Good day all,

Is there a quick way to check in Virtual center (or running a script) to see if a guest needs a VM tools upgrade, instead of having to go to each guest? We are running ESX 3.5 and VC 2.5

Regards

David

Get RVTools from http://www.robware.net It can get this info along with a lot of other useful info. Great program.

You can also use SearchMyVm to get this information and more.

You can also use VUM, create a baseline for VMware Tools update, attach to your VMs.

Then you can make a scan to see the report.

And a remediate to upgrade them.
