Install VMware tools (from ESXi 3.5u3) incomplete on ubuntu 8.10 kernel 2.6.27-7-server. Getting classic "error 2" when trying to compile modules below as part of the vmware-config-tools.pl execution. Any one figure this out? Find lots of hits in google on this error 2 issue because something failed to compile as module dependence, but nothing specific to ubuntu 8.10 server.
