Increasing the size of a Linux ext3 disk

Hi

I have increased one of the disk in esx server which is used in a linux VM.

when i reboot the machine, /dev/sdb1 increased to 150GB but its not reflecting in df -h.

I tried to extend the partition in lvm but i dont have idea to increase in raw device.

I am using redhat 4 update 4 in my VM

Do i need to do anything

Thanks in advance
