Howto login on VM with SmartCard authentification??

Hello,

I'd need configure SmartCard authentification on our VMs during RDP connection. These VMs are W2k3R2 x86/x64 and W2k8R2 servers.

When I plug-in SmartCard with certificate to reader which is connected to physical workstation, there is no reaction in gina. Do you have any experiences with it?

Thanks for reply!

Did you go into Options, Local Resources, More and ensure that Smart Cards were checked?

This doesn't seem like a VM specific issue if I understand correctly.

Hello,

No this is not a VM issue per say. YOu need to configure RDP correctly and the VMs must have the proper software, etc. But other than that there is nothing special that would be VM specific. Just OS Specific.

Hello,

you were right. I had right configuration of RDP but there was a domain policy which blocked smartcard usage. Thank you.
