How to use .VMX file if i use the Host OS is linux instead of window Xp

Hi all,

I am using the vmaware on Host window Xp and guest OS is RHEL 5 ,on which i have made some important setup for mt testing .

Now i am using the vmware on linux mechine . So how i can use same .vmx file is i use the vmware on host linux OS So that i can use same setup.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Power down the RHEL 5 vm. Copy the directory with the RHEL 5 virtual machine over to the Linux box and then open the .vmx file there.
