How to reduce Virtual Machine Hard Disk size

Hi,

We need to reduce Hard disk size in one of the virtual machine.

The Hard Disk size was before 500 GB and now we reduced 100 GB size of the virtual machine hard disk,

But still not yet updated in the Operating system level and also VMFS data storage.

Pls let me know any solution for the same.

Thin disks will not be automatically reduces if you delete some files.

One solution could be use converter to make a copy of your VM, and if you need, also a disk resize.
