How to re-import a VM from backup of files ?

I have made file a copy of a VM from one ESX to another. But now how do i "rebuild" on the destination the VM ?

If you have copied all the files you should be able to browse the Datastore from VC and right click the vmx file. Choose Add to Inventory

Create a NEW VM, choose customize, make the same OS as the original, when it comes to the disk, add from the existing vmdk file. Then it should be all there.
