Hi Friends,
How to install the vmware tools in the SCO UNIX guest OS?
Thanks.
Regarding page 226 of the VMware Guest Installation Guide there are no VMware Tools for SCO: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/GuestOS_guide.pdf

Though this is a very old question, the following may help SCO. It seems still pertinent in that I have found myself in a position to ask this very same question many years later.

VMware Documentation for SCO OpenServer 5.0
The document does give a variety of helpful information regarding getting SCO guests to work. Interestingly, it also says:
VMware does not support the port of VMware Tools provided by UnXis in the SCO OpenServer 5.0.7V product..
Who is UnXis? Xinuos - Wikipedia reveals that it is a former name of the current owner of the SCO operating systems.

In particular, note the "The SCO OpenServer 5.0.7V Virtual Appliance" section, where it indicates:
SCO OpenServer 5.0.7V Version 1.0.0 for VMware is delivered pre-installed with the following major components:
I had already learned that "SCO OpenServer 5.0.7V" is a virtualized edition of the operating system. With that in hand, I found this:

vmtools.2010.03.20 | Additional Packages and Other Supplements | Vmtools version 2010.03.20Cb | Critical | X | 23-JUL-2012 |
So it would appear that getting tools installed requires this:

But one must realize that this is a resource unsupported by VMware.
