In one of my virtual machines, I am running Proworx NXT (Schneider Electric PLC program) that uses com port 1 and I noticed that there is a delay when I go online with the PLC processor.
At times, the programs times out and I have to close the program, restart the program again and get back online with the PLC.
It gets very frustating when it happens several times in a small time period.
Is there a way to speed up the com port response in VMWare? or is there a Windows setting that I should change?
I have seen the same problem with two different computers and the brand new computer stablishes communications, goes online, but it times out at the end of an upload.
Old system, works but is very slow. VMWare 5.5 workstation with Windows XP Pro image and Proworx NXT ver 2.2
New system. VMWare 6.0 with Windows XP Pro image and Proworx NXT ver 2.2
