How to convert a template to a vm?

Hi All,

I need to convert a template to a vm but I can't use VC as this is a standalone ESX host in a lab. How can I do it?

Hi

I believe all you need to do is log onto the ESX host (ssh), navigate to the local vmfs store and then to the location of your template. Change the extension of the .vmtx file in there to .vmx
