Hello All,
How can I share Internet connection with Guest OS ?
Host OS ( RHEL 5 ) having internet connection from ISP with
DHCP connectivity on Ethernet card ( eth0)
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . :
125.99.72.21
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . :
255.255.248.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
125.99.72.1
Vmware server 1.04 is installed to manage the guest OS in
same box
All the Guest OS is
on network of 192.168.0.x / 24
How can I get internet connection in Guest OS, so I can
connect to Internet and update the patches, etc…?

Thanks In Advance,
Ambar
You want to share it? You do not want that the guest has its own connection? Then configure the virtual network card of the guest as NAT. If you haven't created the NAT virtual network (Vmnet8) during installation run "vmware-config.pl" again.
Set the guest IP settings to DHCP after the vNIC is NAT.
