Hello to all good afternoon
My name is Matias, I'm making my first weapons on VMware and Vcenter.
I am currently working with a vcenter and 3 host, 2 ESXI 5.0 and a 6.5. I have problems adding ESXI v6.5 hosts to the Cluster you create.
I do not feel the same with the ESXI 5.0 host.
This is the error that I get:
followed this guide: https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=20318...
Among others it says modify in the host and add:
<ThreadStackSizeKb> 128 </ ThreadStackSizeKb> with <ThreadStackSizeKb> 256 </ ThreadStackSizeKb>
So and everything does not allow me, I read all the forum and several sites of vmware but I can not find the solution.
I hope you can help me with the case, thank you very much !! Greetings to all.
So, that explain the problem, because to be able to manage an ESXi 6.5 you will need vCenter at version 6.5 or higher. Another problem is that if you upgrade your vCenter to version 6.5 you will not be able to manage the 5.0 hosts, since vCenter 6.5 supports only hosts version 5.5 or higher.
Which version of vCenter you're using?
Hi Richard, thank u so much for the answer.
Is the latest version, 6.0 downloaded from vmware site, whit 1 year of licence.

Thank you so much Richardson!
Maybe your right.
I will try first to upgrade the esxi 5.0 host to 6.5 and then upgrade the vcenter 6.0 to 6.5 and try it again.
Thanks and reggards!!
