Hi,
I am having a problem with several Windows XP SP2 machines. The systems become unavailable, i.e end-users can not log on using Remote Desktop.
From VIC when you click the Console tab you see the screensaver. But when you click to activate the console the screensaver disappears and the guest reboots.
Has anyone experienced any similiar problems? I have searched the forums and found one similiar problem, though without any good solution.

The first thing I'd check is to see if the most current version of VMWare Tools (or any version, for that matter) is installed.
I haven't seen this problem nor do I have any info to support the recommendation, but usually console issues that I've had were relating to VMWare Tools.
I will check the VMWare Tools. I have looked in the EventLog and i think the issue is related to Windows Update.
Is the C drive of the XP guest full ?
