Guest VM Templates appears Disconnected

Hello folks,

I have the follow problem: By some reason, some Guest Templates appears with the status "Disconnected" on the Virtual Center console. The only option that have for the administrator account that are looged in, is the "Permission" only. I found a secound way to integrate again this:

1 - just copy the file of the template to a VM guest file ( for example xxx.vmtx to xxx.vmx )

2 - exclude this older vmtx file

3 - add again the VM ( with a new name ) using this new VMX file.

4 - convert again the VM guest to a template

Anyone know how i can correct this or remove the problematic template from the Virtual Center?

Thanks and me best regards

Through the service console, you cant try:

#vmware-cmd -s register /vmfs/volumes/path/to/vm/vm.vmtx

Or, if you prefer the VI, right-click the selected datastore, select "Browse Datastore"...navigate to the .vmtx, right-click, and select "Add to Inventory".

############### Under no circumstances are you to award me any points. Thanks!!!

OK. I will test this, but i can´t add it again by the VC. I will try the command that you pass.

Thanks
