I have few VM's (Windows and linux) and I wanted to configure its IP address( that can be static or DHCP) through some command or API. Is there any possibility for achieving this. I know if its OVF, we can do that through properties option in the .ovf file.
Is there any utility where I can inject required configuration like "hostname, ip address, subnetmask, dns configuration etc" to gues OS and set it to the OS running in the VM.
You can treat this requirement is for our automation purpose.
