Failed to create Journal file provider when power on

I am having problems with some of our XP VMs acting as virtual desktops through XenDesktop. I cannot narrow this down to any particular problem because I have had it happen on VMs which are using the citrix provisioning server, as well as VMs which are using the Hard drive to boot. I get an error which says "A general system error occurred: Failed to create journal file provider" And the VM will not power on.

Amazingly enough not 2 minutes after I posted this the VM powered on without error... I still think there may be a problem, but I have no idea what it is.

cmorris05,

The Journal file is usually created on the ESX host under /var/log I would check you are not running out of space.

To do this log into the esx host and run df

check the output you get and specifically the % next to /var/log
