Event ID 55 Windows 2003 Machines with RDM

Hello,

I have a problem, every virtual machine Windows 2003 with RDM devices show an error "Event ID 55"

Event ID: 55

The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume.

The RDM device works how physical device.

Anybody knows what happens??? How to fix this problem?

Do you have volume shadow copy enabled for the RDM volumes? We did. As soon as I disable it, the error ID 55 stopped. The down side is losing all of the volume shadow copies. Be sure to have a good backup in case a user needs to restore a file.
