Error when cloning Vista image in ESX 3.0

I was able to get a VIsta image built on ESX 3.0 and it is running fine, I would like to clone the image but the process fails with the following error about 80% through the cloning process.. "Incompatible device backing specified for Device "0"..

Not sure what this means.. any thoughts??

make sure you do not have an images assigned to your cdrom or floppy drives associated with the vm

Disabled all of the devices (CD Rom Floppy) and still the same error persists. There was an audio device enabled, once I removed this the error went away...
