Editing the customization file

Hi there,

I have created a customization file using the Customization Specification Manager. Does it creates a .sif file? I need to edit this file so that I can specifty the OU that new VMs are placed in. Does anyone know where the answer file is located?

Thanks,

Glenn

Hello,

The data is stored within the VC database. You are better of exporting the file (to xml) editing it, then importing it. Or you can create a custom sysprep answer file and specify that when you use the customization wizard to create the customization.
