Looking for recommendations/best practice.
How often are you patching ESX? Monthly? Quarterly? Half year? (large environment 1000+ ESX hosts)
How are you getting your critical update notices?
Quarterly, and then possibly more frequently if you have particular vulnerabilities to disclosed security bugs.
Anyone running an environment with 1000+ ESX hosts and trying to patch quarterly? If so, how have you automated this because if not automated it would be a fulltime job in it's own.
