Hi Guys,
I know this is a classic issue. I've been reading the posts about this error but could not find anything that applies to my situation. Any help would be higly appreciated.
I'm using converter 4 standalone to move a Windows 2000 SP4 server to ESX 4.The boo.ini file looks good and I mounted the destination virtual disk on a helper VM only to confirm that the file has been copied correctly.
After reviewing the log files from converter I found the following errors which seem to indicate that there is something wrong with the boot record.... The source server has two hard drives with only one basic disk each.
BTW, I also tried to right click on the VM and Reconfigure but the guest operating system is still unbootable. Not even a blue screen

Thank you.
Boot into a BartPE and restore a good MBR with MBRwhisky

The only workaround that I was able to find was to use cold converter.
Old converter is the wrong term !
