Hi All,
I have VMware Server 1 on CentOS5 with few virtual machines.
I purchased server with builtin ESXi controller, all configured successfully till the virtual machine stage.
Now I need to migrate it from VMware server 1.
I configured NFS (to connect the old VMware data store)
as read only and iSCSI for my new VMware (with Netapp storage).
Copied the files from the NFS to the iSCSI from the VM
console, all files copied,
the only thing that was changed Is that in my old system I had a lot of VMDK
files (since it's limit to 2GB) and the new file was automatically take all old
files and make it just one (30GB).
Now I am try to create a new virtual machine from
existing disk, choose my iSCSI, the current folder, now I don't see any VMDK
file like I don't have one Even due when I browse through the store I can see
this 30GB file(VMDK file).
I tried to use the convertor tool but it can't connect to the CentOS with this tool.
what can i do?
Many thanks.

I tried to use VMware vCenter converter but it failed to connect to the CentOS.
I am guessing it's the wrong tool for Linux.
Sign up for the vConverter 4.0 beta, as this can do Linux conversions
