Cannot start VM

I mapped a SAN lun to a VM and then unmapped it. I did not remove this disk from the VM before I unmapped it from the SAN. Now when I try to start the VM I get:

Virtual disk 'Hard disk 2' is not accessible on the host: Unable to access the file. Temp Backup fhqintd01t/fhqintd01.vmdk

I then went into the .vmx and removed all entries that seemed to relate to this .vmdk. I then try to remove the disk from the VM "edit settings" and I get:

Invalid configuration for device '0'

Attached is my .vmx can anybody help?

Can you just recreate everytihng by creating a new VM, pointing to the VMDK files (You may want to move these around) then re-add the RDM?

I do not want to readd the rdm. I removed this for a reason. But I am going to try your suggestion. Thanks
