Cannot run 64bit guest OS

Hello community,

I'm new and I hope that I will find a solution. The problem is, that I cannot install a guest operating system. I have ESXi 4 installed on the server, but when I create a virtual machine with the information that a 64bit system will be installed then I get an error during my installation that there is no support for 64 bit systems. I habe two Intel XEON single core processors installed. Does anyone have an idea what's the problem?

Thanks, Mike

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Check out kb 1901 - it most likely is the VT not being enabled.

Good Luck!
