Can we apply Windows XP SP3 ?

We are running ESX 3.5 Host.

Is there any problem encountered by any fellow to apply SP3 on Windows XP workstation ?

I've been running it on VMware Workstation 6.0.3 without any issues.

I have XP guests running on ESX 3.5, Workstation 6.0.3, Server 1.0.5 and Fusion 1.1.2. All seems to be ok.

The only issue I can think of is if your guest has been moved from one host to another or has been P2Ved. If the processor changed from Intel or AMD, then you might run in to this issue. All my XP VMs are on Intel based hosts so I do not know if it affects anything other than XP installs that came from OEMs.

i have a few VM guests running SP3 on ESX 3.5 and they work fine. maybe even 10% faster with sp3.
