Can't create second SCSI Drive on WindowsXP Guest with ESX 3.5

I have successfully loaded the BusLogic SCSI Controller Driver and installed a Windows XP Professional Guest OS on ESX, but it only sees the first (boot) SCSI drive of two I created in the VM. The BIOS sees the second drive, and the Windows Device Manager says the second drive is functioning correctly, but I cannot see/access it from the Explorer GUI or the Windows Command Prompt Console. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Did you create a partition, format it, and give it a drive letter -- all within Disk Management in your Windows guest?

I was just in the process of trying that, thanks. In retrospect, quite obvious...
