Can't create a VM

Aloha,

After not being able to deploy a clone VM to a host for

whatever reason, I tried to create it from scratch. After keying in the

name of the VM - which is the same name as what I trried to deploy as a

clone, I get a "The specified key, name or identifier already exists".

I looked at the volume and don't see a folder by that name.

What gives??

Mahalo,

Bill

Somethings got confused. To start try restarting the management process from the console as root.

service mgmt-vmware restart

If not try this.

service mgmt-vmware restart

service mgmt-vpxa restart

service mgmt-vmkauthd restart

Looks like the same issue as this thread - http://communities.vmware.com/thread/79339.
