Automatic power on

Is there a way to automatically power on all VMs on a specific ESX host once this reboots?

Or eventually can I set an automatic power on property on a per-vm basis?

Thanks

In the VI client, select the ESX host, go to the configuration tab.

Select in the Software section, the option Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown.

Select the VM and click on Properties at the right of the screen.

Enable the option "allow virtual machines to start and stop automatically with the system"

Select the vm and move the VM in the correct startup group.

You can enable automatic power on in the Configuration tab in the VI Client.

But don't do this in a HA cluster or you get some really weird results.

I overlooked that section. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you very much.
