Im looking at using AnywhereUSB for connecting some of the modems, license dongles etc to virtual machines.
Currently these are physical servers with the devices directly attached.
Moving forward consolidating these servers to virtual this needs to be addressed.
Although we could potentialy use a work around for local ESX usb connections this is not supported and will not allow for HA and DRS (a main positve for this exercise).
Hence USB over IP (AnywhereUSB).
Has anyone used this? If so I would like to know:
What usb device it was for?
Which model?
Which OS?
Also if it was from the UK which suplier?

Yes, it came with the power supply. I am in the US and ordered it directly from Digi's website.
Its not so easy in europe the website isnt very good to order from. Try adding the rack bracket and it wipes out the other item!
Also would like the AnywhereUSB/TS model which has serial but cant seem to get it from the EMEA store.
