Admin password cannot be stored securly

I am trying to deploy a VM from a template and when the customization wizard, when I enter the administrator password, I get an error message "An Internal Error has occurred and the wizard is unable to store the Administrator password securely".

I have checked that the existing Admin password is removed, or at least I made sure that I knew what the existing password in the template was. I have seen other threads that said that there were problems if floppies or CD were connected so have checked and are not connected.

If I use an existing customization specification it works fine.

Any ideas?

I had the same issue but only on one client. Other clients worked perfectly.

I am currently investigating the differences between the two clients and will let you know the outcome
