Abstract:
VixDiskLib and VixMntapi libraries can be used to manipulate virtual disks in both hosted and virtual infrastructure environments.
These libraries can be used to enable on-line backups of running VMs from outside the VM. This demo will illustrate some
additional use cases, like the use of these libraries to perform disk and file level tasks such as checking for presence of a file
on a powered off vm. The demo is implemented using standard C.
