I am running Windows (XP and 2003). I used the VixDiskLib API to create a new VMDK. Now I need to create and format a partition. Neither the VixDiskLib or VixMntapi APIs offer methods for this, so I'm looking for a way to get a handle of some sort that the OS will recognize as a disk. Then I can use the Windows API to create and format the partition. Anyone know a way to get this done, or any other VMWare API I could use to accomplish this?
