Freespire appliance broken

Unfortunately the Freespire virtual appliance is broken...missing file (snapshot)... and needs to be repaired or re-made. I just wanted to let people know of the problem.

Thanks

Yeah I figured out you can delete the snapshot descriptor file and it will come up.

But what is the second disk? Which is bigger and not referenced anywhere?

And I couldn't get networking to work with it.

Otherwise, looked ok - I will try to build a version from the original Freespire disks and see if I can get it going.

I renamed the Freespire-1.0.vmsd file to Freespire-1.0.vmsd.org and then started freespire with no problems.

By default, it is looking for a dhcp server to get an ip from. If you do not have a dhcp server running (gateway router), you will need to assign an ip.

Otherwise, everything worked good.

I downloaded the file on 25Aug2006.
