I need to add a port on the input to my appliance but I'm unfamiliar with how this appliance manages iptables. Normally I would just add the port using iptables and save it to some config under /etc but in this case I'm not sure that would be the way to do it. I tried to install the Yast2 firewall management thing also but as soon as it wanted to configure the firewall it complained that another utility was already managing that and that if I continued I might screw that up. Is it as easy as editing the SuSEfirewall2 scripts that are in /etc/sysconfig?
