Hi, I want to setup Watchlist and want to know how to set it up from the scratch
I have 5 different vcentre all connecting to different DC's
Do we have a document or something which can guide me ?
if you want to access vCenter over internet using watchlist, then you need to enable below ports in your firewall to connect with vCenter.
Port - 443, 9443
also from - VMware vSphere Mobile Watchlist
You are unable to connect to a VM Console
Watchlist uses web sockets to communicate with vCenter to provide an interactive console after the initial handshake on the following ports:
vCenter 6 or newer: Port 9443
vCenter 5.5u2 to 6: Port 7343
vCenter 5.5: Port 7331
VM console also requires port 902 enabled in firewall.
also instead of directly exposing vCenter to internet I would suggest you to use VPN to connect to your Network and then use watchlist to connect vCenter.
Thanks,
Haridas
Anyone ?

Thanks but I have already seen those links.
They don't given you an idea on the setup side of things like reaching the vcentre from the android App on Internet/4G etc.
I want to know how we reach the vcentre on the public IP and what port needs to be allowed from outside

Yes,we already have a VPN so we will be going through that channel only
We are planning to have it hosted on a public URL which will then NAT to the private IP
thanks
