Hello,
This Android app is very usefull and very responsive ! I just have one issue : search is not giving me back the expected VMs I'd like to add to a watchlist.
The VM is searcheable both from web client and heavy client.
Any idea why it doesn't show up ?
Thanks.
Vincent.
hi vincent,
they should be showing up. have you tried to manually refreshing the inventory list when in the process of adding a VM? on Android tap the refresh icon in the title bar. on iOS, you can pull to refresh the list.
Yes, several time.
The VM count reported by the app doesn't match the VM count within the web client : 508 vs 528 (plus some templates)
Where are the missing 20 ? The one I'm looking for doesn't have fancy naming.
Vincent
Hi, Vincent
Any particular characteristics those not-found VMs have? e.g. are they nested in some resources?
Chitong
Yes, they are in nested resources and effectively, others VM with the following tree do not appear either:
Resource pool / vApp / Resource pool / VM
Too much depth ?
Thanks
Thanks for the info, we will look into it.

Hello,
Just tried it, and it works. The search returns all VMs I expect.
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
I am using the iOS client, v1.0.2-1654093. I am only seeing one VM, vCenter. The rest, (we only have 7 deployed so far) do not show up. Refreshing the list does not help. We are ESXI 5.5.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
Nevermind, another refresh and they all showed up.
