I've recently come across some posts in the VTN about how to get WAN Emulation and test networks into ESXi. I personally know from speaking with our customers that it's not obvious that you can create a Virtual Test Network inside ESXi using a virtual Network Emulator. The virtual Network Emulator enables you to create one or more concurrent Virtual Test Networks which can mimic WANs, Mobile, Satellite, DSL and WiFi networks so that you can bring the real-world network environment into test.
