thank you Ashutosh, but what I'm actually looking for is CDP info from ESXi which is propagated to a physical switch.

What information does a network admin see when ESXi shares CDP information?

Is there a complete list of what information ESXi shares with it's CDP neighbours (i.e. Device ID, Capability, Platform, Port ID, etc.)?

I don't have access to a switch to test but if you make sure cdp is set to advertise on the esxi switch you can check on the switch. I found an article that has an older image of whats available, at least at the time the article was wwritten
