why is there continuos reconfiguration of VMs without any initiation by user. Seems like V center is doing this. Kindly suugest solution to stop automatic reconfiguration of VMs.

Do you have backup configured? If not you personally - any Backup Team with their tools?

Because such sequence of tasks sounds exactly like daily backup running.

How does this related to the Converter SDK? (where you posted this thread)

If it does not, is it a regular vSphere admin kind of question?

VM Backup/Replication and the ability to populate the notes or custom field with information come into my mind.
