want to delete the datastore but data should not be recoverable after deletion for security reason. overwrite by zeroing is possible somehow ?
Where is your datastore located (local/shared), and how is it provisioned (thick/thin)?
In case of a thick provisioned datastore/LUN, you may e.g. delete the datastore and map the underlying LUN as a physical RDM to a Linux VM (Live Linux will do). Then use the shred command to fill the complete LUN with random data.

Hello.
Depending on your storage, you could format the lun or the corresponding logical drive (only if you have experience with these issues).
If the storage is external (e.g. a box), as a security measure you could delete your array and/or configuration.
