I'm new to tagging, but it seems fairly straightforward. No matter what I name a tag (if the name matters), and then I search for all the vm's that I've tagged in the vsphere search box, only some of them appear. They're all the same type of object (virtual machines). I myself have Admin permissions on everything.
However, if I drill into the tag itself and look at 'objects', I can see all the tagged vm's in there.
Can't figure out what the trick would be to see them all via the search box. ?
