Can you recommend any free or reasonably priced VMware vSphere/esxi health check tools that you would endorse adding to your admin toolbox? It has been a while since I researched available tools but there used to be a free download windows desktop app called RVtools that had a nice an easy to interpret health report that flagged risks such as orphaned snapshots, discs and datastores running low on storage, outdated or VMware tools not running on the guest VM etc .
I was wondering what tools you use currently to look for health issues/risks in your virtual server environment? A tool that can provide a quick assessment of the environment to give an overview of general well-being for assurance that there are no imminent problems that should be investigated and resolved asap.
