vcsa 6.5 U1 update manger issue

Hi All,

My environment:

- 4 esxi 6.5U1 Dell R630 hosts

- secure boot enabled

- 1 vcsa 6.5U1

Today, I installed one pack - Dell iDRAC VIB with vcsa 6.5 update manage on 3 Dell R630 servers successfully, but 1 failed.

I found one KB VMware Knowledge Base and followed it, but could not fix my issue.

I noticed that both /var/db/esximg/vibs and /var/db/exsimg/profiles are empty on the fault ESXi, though I have copy the files from working esxi host, if I reboot the esxi host, they would gone again.

The other question is when I reboot the esxi host for the first time, I got a purple issue.

To resolve this issue,

Put the host in Maintenance mode.

Enable SSH client.

Copy the file to /var/db/esximg from a working host with same build.

Disable the SSH Client.

Check the profile status by running "esxcli software profile get".

Run the VUM scan, stage and remediate the ESXi host.

Once Host is fully updates, restart the host

Remove the host from Maintenance Mode.
