vSphere credentials with no password

Hi all,

Long story short, I look after vmware in this organisation. A dev who uses some VMs want to test the automation of something via Linux containers.

He asks me for a username with create/edit/delete VM permissions, without password. I tried in AD (my vsphere is integrated) but due to the password policy, I cannot create one with blank password. vSphere SSO does not allow this either.

Is there a way to do this?

No, it's not allowed. Go back and tell your dev what he's asking for is not only stupid and probably violation of company policy, but dangerous and senseless.
