vSphere Web client

Hi,

I see documents referring to the Web client being flash-based and flex-based. Quick Google search suggests they have the same underlying technology. Is flex subject to the same security risks as flash? My VCSA 6.5 main page refers it to as a Flash client.

Flex = server side development language. Flash = client side technology to run Flex apps. They're one and the same client.
